Donnie is the co-founder of Shoes from the Heart. He serves as the CEO and Board President. Shoes from the Heart was started by his late wife Cindy, her vision was to help all children in need with shoes. After Cindy's passing, he has continued follow her vision. He is a Macon R-I graduate who completed his education with a BS in Busines
Donnie is the co-founder of Shoes from the Heart. He serves as the CEO and Board President. Shoes from the Heart was started by his late wife Cindy, her vision was to help all children in need with shoes. After Cindy's passing, he has continued follow her vision. He is a Macon R-I graduate who completed his education with a BS in Business at Northeast Missouri State University in 1987.
He currently resides in Macon with his wife Meg, family and friends. He says he is truly blessed. Our charming small community is a wonderful place to belong and grow.
His passion and daily commitment is to provide shoes to anyone in need. He just wants to make life a little easier one SHOE at a time.

Meg Bonuchi's journey is marked by resilience, love, and a steadfast commitment to helping others. Following the tragic loss of her first husband in 2013, Meg found solace and love with Donnie, whom she married in 2018. Together, their shared experiences fueled a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of those less fortunate.

With a career focused on caregiving, Meg realized her calling was to serve a greater purpose. In 2022, she joined Shoes from the Heart, an organization dedicated to providing footwear to those in need. Beyond simply providing shoes, Meg sees her work as bringing comfort and joy to individuals facing hardship. Each day, she finds fulfillment in knowing that her efforts make a tangible difference in the lives of others, one pair of shoes at a time.

Gina Fowler, the newest member of Shoes from the Heart, brings a wealth of experience in community outreach. Introduced to the organization in 2013 during a local shoe distribution event, Gina was deeply moved by the impact of providing footwear to children in need. With a background as the former Executive Director of the United Way of R
Gina Fowler, the newest member of Shoes from the Heart, brings a wealth of experience in community outreach. Introduced to the organization in 2013 during a local shoe distribution event, Gina was deeply moved by the impact of providing footwear to children in need. With a background as the former Executive Director of the United Way of Randolph County and 26 years of experience running her own travel agency, Gina understands the importance of community collaboration and service. Now retired from her agency, she looks forward to dedicating more time to her family and interests, including reading, travel, concerts, and cherished moments with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Graduating from Stoutland High School in 2009, she embarked on a journey through various jobs until discovering her passion at Shoes from the Heart, where she assists those in need.
In addition to her fulfilling career, Molly is a devoted mother to two sons and manages a bustling farm teeming with animals. Constantly on the move, she embraces the dynamic rhythm of her life with boundless energy and enthusiasm.
